HCF is paying your gap

Eligible HCF members can undergo primary hip or knee replacement surgery with no out-of-pocket costs with a participating orthopaedic surgeon at Eastwood Private Hospital.

Program inclusions

Hospital accommodation and theatre fees.
Fees from participating surgeons, assistants, and anaesthetists.
Agreed prosthesis and in-hospital diagnostic tests.
In-hospital physiotherapy; incorporating recruitment into our Arthroplasty Program, which includes allied health pre-operative education and assessment, inpatient therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation.

This applies for agreed services provided during your hospital stay, except for the hospital excess which will apply if this is your first admission in the calendar year.

Important information

The program covers only the agreed episode of care. Costs may apply for services outside the agreed scope, complications, or providers not participating in the program. HCF eligibility check is required prior to surgery. The program is available until 4th August 2026.
